  My son asked me to join him at COGS 2 1/2 years ago. I planned on going that day, but thought I would go back to my church I grew up in. I havn't left COGS since then. A Pastor and his wife and kids who share their God given gifts with us to make us better christians. To lead us to have a good relationship with God and to teach us about the bible. The sermons are made for us to understand them fully and take them with us and use them in our everyday life to be a better person. The people that make up the church, we call our church family and not because that's what the church taught us, because we all truly have love for each other. The music...put it this way, it's hard to stand still while were praying through music. Coffee, chat, hot cookies, just some added plus before and after service. Also, all you mother's and father's out there, we have a wonderful new nursery for the babies, and older kids have seperate teachings on Sundays same time as Service. Hope to see you there.

  Great genuine hometown community congregational feel with strong modern spiritual roots.
  Upbeat songs & hymns, praising the Lord.
  Congregation is for the young and mature crowds alike.
  Pastor Kevin Mullins preaches the word of God with strong traditional roots providing an inspirational modern flair.
  If you are looking for a spiritual community "home" this is definitely the place too be!

  I've been attending COGS for a few years now and still am JUST as excited now as I was in the beginning. I love my family. My church family is there for me to help me, to uplift me, to cheer me, to support me in bad times and in good times too. It's not the church you think or assume it is......it's BETTER!!!!!! The music is awesome, the people are awesome, the worship is awesome, the sermons are awesome and really relay to your everyday life. Come join us, have some coffee and enjoy worship!!!!
